When you think of fast cars, you must think of the Bugatti Chiron, as the fastest car in the world at the moment. This is not the case, the newly developed Koenigsegg Regera is out to challenge the Bugatti and boy is it winning!
Koenigegg released the Regera at the Geneva Auto Show 2015, this is it’s 3rd release after the One:1 and Agera RS. Regera is Swedish for ‘to reign’, an appropriate name for a machine that is showing some state of the art technology and never before seen features in power, responsiveness and luxury; a dangerous piece of metal with a cool look- Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde situation!
This beast of a car sports a 1500 BHP (brake horsepower), which is at least 20 times more than the Bugatti Chiron, which boasts a 1479 BHP.
The Regera can cover 0-100kmh in 2.8 seconds, 0-200kmh in 6.6 seconds and just imagine 0-300kmh in only 10.9 seconds! Top Gear the world famous BBC TV program, has reported that the Regera can possibly do 0-400 in 20 seconds.
The Regera also has the world’s first truly efficient fold able wings. The wings are mounted at the back and are said to fully fold down onto the back of the car, so as to lessen the drag effect created when at top speeds. This super uber car also has an integrated infotainment system, WIFI, 3G, WIFI, Apple CarPlay etc.
