40 platoons Coast Guard deployed in coastal districts

A total of 40 platoons of Bangladesh Coast Guard were deployed in the coastal districts to
assist the civil administration in maintaining the law-and-order
situation ahead of the 11th parliamentary elections.
Lieutenant Commander Abdullah Al Maruf of Bangladesh Coast Guard headquarters told UNB that Coast Guard members were deployed in coastal districts, including Noakhali, Chattogram, Cox’s Bazar and Khulna.
