57pc work on Padma Bridge completed

Desk Report: Work on Padma Bridge has made the highest progress among the government’s nine top-priority projects, according to the latest official report.
The dream project saw 57.50 per cent overall progress up to August this year, while 66 per cent work on the construction of the main bridge was completed, the latest progress report of Economic Relations Division (ERD) on fast-track projects suggests, reports Daily Sun.
ERD sent the report to the PMO to inform Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina about the progress of the fast-track projects, ERD sources said.
“The fast-track projects are the most prioritised projects of the government. So all the relevant parties are concerned about the progress in these projects, which are on the right track,” ERD Senior Secretary Kazi Shofiqul Azam said.
