NDTV: Jalandhar Bishop Franco Mulakkal, the accused in the Kerala nun rape case, has said he has handed over the charge of Jalandhar diocese to his second-in-command amid an ongoing probe in the case by Kerala police.
The Kerala nun rape case has been brought to the notice of Vatican and a representative from the Vatican is already in India to discuss the issue with Archbishop of Delhi Anil Couto. The meeting is underway in Chandigarh to decide the future course of action.
