Khaleda refusing court appearance a right choice

Maj (retd) Md Akhtaruzzaman : Khelade Zia has said she is not appearing to the court; no matter what verdict awaits her. This is a right decision of hers and it cannot be violated.
Justice will not be served at the court which is loyal to the government, something that is clear as crystal. A Comilla court also denied her bail. Despite all these, if the lawyers do not get conscious, there is nothing to comment on. All the cases filed against her are political ones, which have to be faced in a political manner. Legal battle will not work here. Our expert lawyers tried their level best to settle the cases through legal battle. Unfortunately, their legal fight proved that the government sent Khaleda to jail and she is being denied bail in some cases, while the courts are granting her bail in some others.

A game of bail is on in the name of legal battle. All the bails she obtained so far are going to expire. After her bail denial in Comilla, our lawyers will now move the High Court seeking her bail, leaving her possibility to get bail pending. Our lawyers, despite her refusing to appear at court, have stepped into the legal trap of the government by moving the High Court.

Aiming at wasting time, the court has deferred the hearing date to September 20. Our experienced lawyers may force Khaleda change her stance since a possibility will surface of her getting bail when the bail plea is heard at the High Court. So, the lawyers will spoil the chance of political movement what that government expects badly.

The government will not release her under any circumstances. If she is bail now, the government will pass more time using the issue. No matter how hard our lawyers fight the battle of law, the government with the help of their direct assistant will give more punishment to Khaleda by incarcerating her much longer, which is beyond any doubt.

If Khaleda does not appear at court and now lawyer represent her, the government will have to appoint lawyer for her and forced her to trial. The people will not accept the fabricated trial of Khaleda. The cases she face are political and those deserve political counter. Khaleda’s release will be on the streets and there is alternative to her being freed without the streets.
