It has been 2 years since the jihadists killed 130 people in Paris and the only surviving suspect decided not to talk to the investigators.
According to police reports, the 28 year old suspect Salah Abdeslam played an important role in planning the attack but nobody knows about his exact role yet.
He is kept in a solitary confinement in Europe’s biggest prison at Fleury-Mérogis, south of Paris. Justice Minister Nicole Belloubet informed that Salah Abdeslam might commit suicide in his prison cell. However, the victims’s families do not want him dead and want to see him stand trial. A date for Abdeslam’s trial in France has not been decided yet. Salah has received a lot of letters in prison and he replied to one of the letters saying that he was not ashamed of who he was.
