140 Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University doctors challenged against the verdict of deeming their appointments as illegal. After, the appeal hearing, the bench of 5 led by the Chief Justice Surendra Kumar Sinha, ordered to keep them at their posts.
But, the hospital administration isn’t ready to accept upon the oral verdict. Though, the current policy allows it. Administration wants the certificate copy of final verdict. They are only showing excuses to prolong the doctors’ leave from work, complain the suffering doctors.
These doctors stopped getting their payment from the March of 2016 and were forbidden from signing into their daily register from April. Unfortunately, even if they get their jobs back, they will not be able to retrieve their payment since March 2016, upon their second possible joining.
