Dutch TV Series review: Zwarte Tulp (Black Tulip)

    Black Tulip is a Dutch drama about two families who are trying a black tulip to grow. Black Tulip is the first Dutch first series will be broadcast through the video on demand at Dienst Videoland. The first season was released in its entirety on March 30, 2015. On January 24 2016 was announced on RTL Boulevard to see the second season from May 6 will be in Videoland. RTL Netherlands commissioned the series and Videoland conceived and developed with producer NL Film. In July 2014, they began the filming of the series and lasted until late November. The series was recorded in the bulb region and Amsterdam. There were famous actors like Linda van Dyck , Huub Stapel , Marcel Musters , Gijs Naber , Anna Tracker and Benja Bruijning associated with the series.
    The families Spark Kester had his two successful years in the Tulip industry. Spark family was driven into cultivating original bulbs and family Kester in buying and selling bulbs. An accident fifteen years earlier in which the brother and sister of Henk Kester were deceased, claimed by Henk Vonk hands of Luuk, the two families have become rivals. The years of constant dispute is enhanced when the family Vonk claims to have the first black tulip. Meanwhile, little by little unraveled the mystery about the accident from the past and it appears that nothing is what it seems.
