An alleged robber was beaten to death by a mob in Jangail area of Sadar upazila early Monday.
The deceased was identified as Joynal, 35, son of a robber ringleader Sarder Alta alias ‘Hadai robber’ of Paikraja village of the upazila.
Locals said he was caught and beaten to death while trying to escape after a burglary in the village early in the morning.
