A private car driver was injured in a gun attack by miscreants in the city’s Banani area on Monday midnight.
The injured was identified as Tofazzal Hossain, 46, son of late Fazlul Karim, haling from Samanta Gosairhat of Shariatpur district. Inspector Mozammel Haque, in-charge of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) police camp, said Tofazzal came under attack by a group of miscreants at Banani Kitchen Market around 11:45pm on his way back home.
With bullet wounds to his both shoulders, he was taken to the DMCH, Mozammel said.
The reason behind the gun attack is still unclear.
