Police arrested one alleged miscreant from Kaliabokri village under Damurhuda upazila of the district on Thursday night. Police also recovered a country made shutter gun with one round of ammunition from his possession.
Police said the arrested person has been identified as Dulu Miah, 30, son of Abdul Quddus of village Kaliabokri under Damurhuda upazila of the district. A case was filed in this connection with Damurhuda police station. The arrestee was wanted in connection with two rape cases of Damurhuda police station and he was absconding.
