A bicycle rider was killed at Bhelapara on Ranisankail-Baliadangi road on Thursday evening.
The bicycle rider was identified as Nazrul Islam, 35, son of Shamsul Haque of Kalugaon village under Ranisankail upazila of the district.
Police said the bicycle rider was killed when his cycle was hit by a motor cycle. The motor cycle rider was seriously injured and he was admitted to Thakurgaon sadar hospital.
